I work with teams and individuals as a coach and consultant with over 15 years of facilitation and leadership development experience.  My approach synthesizes the best of Conscious Leadership, Theory U, Social Presencing Theater, and Embodied Social Justice.

It has been an honor to support the growth in leaders at such organizations as the City of San Jose, iThrive Games, National Board of Medical Examiners, Food Revolution Network, Venice Community Housing, Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, Billions Institute for Large Scale Social Change, Hendricks Institute, Barnes Foundation, and the Equity Lab.  I’ve created corporate wellbeing programs for Subaru of America, Fairmount Park Conservancy, Obermayer, and the Library Company.

Contemplative practice is core to my personal mission of supporting well-being at home and at work, and is woven into my facilitation style. I am a graduate of the Leadership and Transformation program led by Katie and Gay Hendricks. I’m a NAMA-certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, a Certified Vishoka Meditation Teacher, a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner in-training. I’m the author of the award-winning book A Joyful Pause: 52 Ways to Love Life.

Calm Your Mind, Build Your Radiance

Imagine a life infused with joy and tranquility.

The ancient yogis called this state vishoka, and insisted that we all can reach it. The key is a precise set of meditative techniques designed to unite mind and breath, and turn them inward.

Private instruction is available for you to learn this life-changing practice. Email me at nicole@ajoyfulpause.com for more information.
